Dr. Jordan Case
Dr. Case is one of the newest additions to our team of physicians at Lemak Health— a center of excellence in orthopedic surgery with expertise in all areas of orthopedics and primary care sports medicine. Dr. Case specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Santa Monica Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Group. Prior to this, he completed his internship in General Surgery as well as his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
Before attending Wake Forest, he obtained his medical degree the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston after graduating from Davidson College in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. While at Davidson College, he was a pitcher for the Varsity Baseball team.
He is currently researching acute changes in shoulder range-of-motion following in-season appearances by professional pitchers as well as the influence of isometric strength in rotator cuff musculature on acute changes in glenohumeral range-of-motion following pitching.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
